Remind Me
Chase Atlantic

Chase Atlantic is an Australian R&B band formed in 2014, blending alternative, indie, electronic, and dance music. The group includes Christian Anthony and brothers Mitchel and Clinton Cave. If you’ve been on TikTok, you’ve probably heard their viral hits like “Swim” or “Friends.” Influences from The Weeknd, The 1975, and The Neighbourhood shape both their sound and aesthetic.
Their new single, “Remind Me,” captures Chase Atlantic’s dreamy alt-R&B style, keeping their moody vibe with a lighter, more minimal beat. It feels connected to their “Lost in Heaven” era, with songs like “Ricochet” and “Disconnected,” yet it stands on its own. Instead of their signature heavy bass, the track offers a lighter, smoother feel. Lyrically, it revisits familiar themes like desire, memory, and emotional haze without adding much new. The song flows in waves, building and slowing repeatedly, mirroring the emotional uncertainty. Christian’s warmer vocals contrast nicely with Mitchel’s airier tone, and the delivery remains restrained and focused. While “Remind Me” captures their signature atmosphere, it risks feeling flat without strong transitions or standout moments.
At first, the song sounded too similar to their previous work, but after a few listens, it grew on me. Still, it’s not a standout in their discography and feels better suited to their album “Lost in Heaven” than as a fresh single. Although “Remind Me” is set to appear on the deluxe edition of Lost in Heaven, I’m reviewing it here as a standalone release. Overall, it’s a solid, safe track that reinforces their style without evolving it.
