Tour Ma Vie (World Tour)

Doja Cat

Rodrigo Rivera

I can’t remember the last time I sang and danced and screamed as loudly as I did during the Doja Cat concert in Minneapolis last week. I’m a HUGE Doja fan, and she just absolutely killed it with her stage presence and performance. Not to mention all those powerful gazes she’d give us at the end of each song, as if telling us “You know I’m that bitch!”

It was also my first concert ever, and I gotta say, it did not disappoint. I didn’t really know Latto, the opener, but she was pretty great (and she shook so much ass!). And when Doja got on stage, the energy was electric! Everyone around me in the nosebleeds was screaming and singing along, and the light bracelets they gave us made it feel like you were in a rave when they flashed in every color!

Her setlist mainly featured songs from her latest album “Vie,” which is full of bangers. I have my favorites, namely “AAAHH MEN!” and “Cards,” but there’s something about hearing and seeing Doja live that made each of her songs feel like my favorite song. Don’t even get me started on when she started singing “Kiss Me More,” my all time favorite; my boyfriend and I were rapping it word-for-word. Overall, the concert felt very cathartic, and I’m happy that I got to see one of my favorite artists live for the first time. 10/10, would strongly recommend giving her music a try if you haven’t already.
