Last Wednesday, Nov. 15, the UK-based alt-rock trio Demob Happy performed at the Turf Club on St. Paul. This fall tour was in support of their new album “Divine Machines.” Releasing hits like “Be Your Man” and “Less Is More”, and receiving critical acclaim from The Guardian, Independent, BBC Radio 1 and many more, this Newcastle band plans to conquer the world as they step into this mysteriously bright new era.
Just recently, the band released a song called “Honey, You’re A Dead Man”, a melodic riff-ridden song about finding your true self and detaching yourself from the past—a great nod to the band’s everlasting melodic musical repertoire and an incredible performance by singer/bassist Matthew Marcantonio. “These guys are a song making machine,” wrote a listener on Youtube. “Saw them in Madrid last month, great show and great guys.”
Unfortunately the band’s tour in the U.S. is over but you can definitely check their new album “Divine Machines” on all streaming platforms.
