Created by Andrés Guerrero—otherwise known as ANDYL4ND—and released in July of this year, “Endacopia” is a wildly detailed point-and-click game that will have you exploring for hours.
While you play as Mellow, the main character of the game, you can discover detailed Easter eggs hidden in the most mundane things, interact with a wide variety of extremely developed characters, explore a high-praise worthy level of world building, and try to help Mellow decipher what it means for him to be helpful. With gameplay elements reminiscent of “Undertale” and many other highly acclaimed games, you can fight your way through narrational barriers and solve truly mind-challenging puzzles, all while also being able to kick back and enjoy the artistic mastery that was put into developing this independent game!
It truly offers such a rich experience both in the main plot and in the cute little side quests that you can send yourself on! I have never played a game or watched someone play a game (Markiplier did a playthrough of this that I highly recommend watching) that has been as promising as this one, and everything about it feels so handcrafted and sincere. The best part, in my opinion, is that there are multiple endings you can achieve, and having the option of choosing your own destiny really immerses the player and makes them feel like they are in the world themselves. These elements of the game put into perspective how much passion Guerrero implemented into this game.
