Nivalis Nights

Have you ever wanted to see what it’s like to be an up-and-coming business owner in an oppressive, dystopian mass-surveillance state? “Nivalis Nights” might just be the game for you!
I first learned of the game developer ION Lands through reviews of their previous game, “Cloud Punk.” Through those, I learned of a game they would soon release. A life sim set in a neon-colored city seemed right up my alley, and they said there would be fishing? I was sold.
Now the game has come out, and I’ve sunk a couple hours into it and grown my business. I’m happy to say that the game delivers on its promises. “Nivalis Nights” presents an immersive look at life in the future, between managing your businesses, taking your boat out to the chemical-ridden waters to fish, and diving into the mystery of a serial killer known as the Aseptic. The game has something for everyone, with its cozy shopkeeping simulator and sneaky curfew drone-dodging action.
I would say the game is perfect, but like all cyberpunk games, it was released with a plethora of performance issues. However, credit goes to the developers who have taken it upon themselves to fix the bugs as quickly as you get jailed for breaking curfew in the game. If your computer struggles with high-end games, I would hold off until some more optimization gets added to the game. Otherwise, Nivalis Nights is a fantastic game and a phenomenal entry into the cyberpunk genre.
